With the motto “providing simple access to insurance solutions,” Central States Indemnity adheres to their vision and makes getting insurance easy for their clients.

Here are some of the highlights of CSI Medicare supplemental insurance

  • Prompt and thorough customer service: Best known for their excellent customer service, they respond to all requests for information regarding policies, claims, and queries quickly.

  • Strong financial rating: The company’s strong financial rating is indicative of its superior performance over the years. It offers peace of mind knowing they can back the policies they provide.

  • Portable coverage: If you are traveling within the United States, you are covered for all medical care and emergencies as long as the provider/hospital is covered by Medicare. You have the flexibility of choosing your own healthcare provider, too.

  • Guaranteed renewable: Whether or not you have preexisting conditions or health issues, you are guaranteed to renew your policy on an annual basis, provided you are paying your premiums. So you can have peace of mind that your insurance is there, no matter what health issues you face.

  • Workplace wellness: Central States Indemnity is committed to providing workplace health and wellness. They created the Wellness Council of America, which is one of the most popular and respected resources for workplace wellness, with a membership of over 3,200 companies across the United States.

  • Website with little info: The CSI website leaves something to be desired, as it has limited information. If you want questions answered, your best bet is to call their phone number, as there is currently no online chat feature on the website. And there is very little detail regarding their Medicare supplement policies online. The CSI website is limited in terms of product information. Although Medicare Supplement is the only product listed or described, there is still very little to no detail regarding their policies.

  • Not in every state: Although CSI is licensed in all states except New York, they do not provide Medicare supplements in every state. There are currently 12 states where no coverage is available, including AK, CA, CT, DE, HI, MA, MN, MO, NY, RI, VT, and WA.
